Our History

From a hostel for Bahai children established on 1st August 1945 with sixteen children, New Era has grown into a leading international educational institution. Supervised by the New Era High School Committee, it functions under the aegis of the  National Spiritual Assembly of the Baha`is of India.

The student body of New Era High School has grown from a modest 16 children to 850 girls and boys from not only India but also a large number of other countries.

Embracing a wide variety of cultures, religious backgrounds, and nationalities the School exemplifies  Baha’u’llah’s teaching:

“... the earth is but one country and mankind its citizens.”
